Slovenia climate and weather

Slovenia has a continental climate with summers that are warm and winters cold due to snowfalls in the Alps, but the coastal region has a Mediterranean type of climate. It generally rains during spring and autumn in the coastal region of Slovenia. However, there are plenty of sunny days at this time on the glacier basin. Though this is the general trend in the weather conditions in Slovenia, during the last few years there have been slight changes in the weather.
